NCAA Basketball: UMary women get revenge on Beavers

The University of Mary women's basketball team defeated Minot State University, 70-45, on Dec. 19 at the McDowell Activity Center.

This was a grudge match for the Marauders, after being defeated by 10 points in Minot the day after Thanksgiving.

The win is UMary's first in conference play.

UMary returns to Northern Sun action Dec. 30 against Minnesota-Duluth.

On the men's side, UMary held a brief lead at 11-8 before surrendering the lead and the game.

The final score was 77-65.

The men have not won a conference game this season.

    CBS News: Facebook is expanding its fight against revenge porn with a pilot program that asks users to send their naked photos so Facebook can block the photos before someone else shares them. Facebook's been testing the system in Australia and is extending the trial to the U.S., Britain and Canada, BBC News reports.
