Men's Colllege BBall: DSU focused on team chemistry early in season

There are two early season goals for the Dickinson State men's basketball team: Work on their on-court chemistry and adjust to new head coach Josh Vaughan.

Both are still a work in progress.

On offense, the Blue Hawks have come out of the gate strong, scoring an average 99 points a game.

DSU still wants to get better on the defensive side of the ball and senior guard Carter Gallo doesn't think they need to make a big adjustment. Gallo thinks the team is really close.

"You know it's the little things," senior guard Carter Gallo said. "We have the talent. It's the little things like bringing it every night, being mentally focused every night those types of things."

The next time the Blue Hawks take the floor is Thursday against Minot State in an exhibition.
