HS Wrestling: Mandan poised for big year

The Mandan wrestling team has started off the 2017-18 season on a high note.

After Mandan lost their dual with Bismarck, the Braves placed fifth overall at the Mandan Lions Tournament.

Senior Isaac Berger was a high individual finisher. He took second in the 152 pound weight class. Berger says the Braves are definitely on the rise.

"We only lost a few seniors last year," Berger said, "but we've got a couple solid guys. Jacob Boehm, Will Kleinknect, Adam Boehm, Ethan Fleck and Kolten Reisenauer are kind of our big dogs."

On Nov. 7, Mandan has a home dual this against Dickinson at 7 p.m.
