The St. Mary's, Mandan and Minot football programs picked up wins on Oct. 12 in separate games.
St. Mary's avoided a three-game losing streak with a 38-20 win over Central Cass. The Saints trailed 7-0 after the first period, but responded with 17 unanswered points to close out the first half and take a 17-7 lead at halftime.
Mandan earned their third win of the season with a 29-14 victory over Fargo North. Mandan scored the first touchdown of the game, but then gave up a score that tied the game at seven. For the next three quarters, the Braves outscored North 22-7.
Dickinson suffered a loss to Minot. The Midgets managed a score late in the fourth, however at that point the score was 41-7 in Minot's favor.
