College Football: NDSU defeats Youngstown State in overtime

North Dakota State traveled to Youngstown State Saturday and escaped with a 27-24 overtime win.

Youngstown State struck first courtesy of a Nathan Mays pass to Damoun Patterson from 22 yards out to make it 10-0.

Later in the first half NDSU responded, as Easton Stick found RJ Urzendowski in the corner of the end zone to lessen the gap.

In overtime, the Penguins' Zak Kennedy missed a field goal attempt to leave things wide open for NDSU.

Cam Pedersen then got a turn with the game on the line, and the NDSU kicker drilled the 36-yard field goal to give the Bison a walk-off win.
