Sophomore Spencer Gillund says he is overjoyed to have signed a letter of intent to play baseball for North Dakota State come 2019.
"To be a North Dakota kid playing there, I get to play in front of all my friends and family and play division one ball close to home," Gillund said. "That was a big factor for me."
The infielder is coming off a freshman campaign that saw him named Region 13 Tournament MVP. He also played summer ball for the Bismarck Larks.
Gillund starts his final season at BSC on March 30 against Dawson Community College.
