The Bismarck State baseball players are still reaping the benefits of last season's success.
The Mystics signed two more players during earlier signing period.
Zac Martin committed to play at the University of Mary. Martin is a right-handed pitcher who spent his high school days at Shiloh Christian.
Alex Horner will head down south to play at Northern State in Aberdeen, S.D. Alex pitched for Kent Schweigert at Century.
Both are happy to extend their playing careers.
"The main thing that stood out was Coach [Kevin] Walsh, the pitching coach," Martin said. "I believe in him. I believe what he does. I believe what he does. I feel like he can help me become successful."
"Going to Northern is definitely the next step that I need to take in my coaching career," Horner said. "Two more years of baseball will help me understand the game even more. At another level, it'll look good on a job application. Two years at BSC and two years at Northern is good. Not many people can say they played four years of college baseball. I think the whole situation is good for me."
BSC has signed three players off the 2018 roster. Shortstop Spencer Gillund committed to NDSU earlier in November.
