Capital Ice unveiled their new addition Wachter Arena on Nov. 29 to the public.
The new rink features six locker rooms, stadium seating for over 400 and an officials locker room.
Schaumberg arena also received a make over with a new locker rooms and a new lobby.
Over $3.8 million dollars were pledged to the project.
"In our growing community," Bismarck Parks and Recreation Executive Director Randy Bina said, "our numbers in the ice program to continue to grow. We needed an additional sheet of ice and this will definitely help get the kids on the ice early and get the kids off the ice early to during the week."
The project took a little over a year to complete.
