Bismarck has lot of fire power, with 8 skaters with 5 points or more, and three forwards with at least 5 goals. The teams says their defense first mentality helps them on both ends of the spectrum. The Bobcats hold the second best goals-for, goals-against average in the division.

(Jared Resseguie, Forward) "We gotta win our battles down low, start cycles, and get the puck to the net. As long as there's bodies in front, and shots going through, it's pretty easy to get goals that way."

(Layne Sedevie, Head Coach) "Good defense leads into good offense, and I think if we can work just as hard without the puck, we're going to score a lot of goals. We have good skill. We got a good mix of guys that work hard, who are not afraid to fore check. The biggest thing we're trying to do right now -- the offense will be there, it will come -- We're trying to work away from the puck in our defensive zone."

(Parker Mismash, Forward) "We tend to focus on the defensive zone a lot more, which is the key to this league. Once you do your job in the D-zone, you'll get your time in the offensive zone."
