What sort of job opportunities are available in western North Dakota?

Williston Economic Development and other local sponsors hosted an event in Crosby today to answer that question.

Connecting Communities is all about bringing neighboring communities together and showing them the opportunities that await them in Williston.

(Cindy Sanford, Williston Job Service Customer Service Manager) "We have over a thousand job openings in Williams County so we're looking for people in every area."

The event featured a free BBQ lunch for community residents.

Past events in Watford City and Sidney, Montana have drawn hundreds of people.

(Ken Callahan, Montana-Dakota Utilities Energy Services Manager) "We're really here to support. We're here to provide a lunch for anyone that wants to come but then if people come and they ask us how we're doing, how we're growing, how we built the beautiful ARC in Williston, North Dakota, how we're building the high school-same thing in Watford City, what they're struggles are. We're here to lend a hand."

If you're interested in learning more about career opportunities, you can attend Williston's job fair - that's September 7th at the Grand Williston.
