UPDATE: Suspect in custody after Williston homicide

UPDATE 11:30 am:

Williston Police say the suspect is now in custody. SWAT apprehended the suspect making entry into his residence at about 10:30 this morning.

They safely took him into custody. Search warrants are being done. 

The victim in the case was Vance Neset. He's a 43-year-old Williston resident.

Charges are expected to be filed in the case.

10:55 am:

Williston Police are looking for a suspect after a homicide in Williston overnight.
Williston Police say the suspect is a white male, 5'11" 150 pounds and in his late 20's with brownish hair.
The PD says at about 2:50 am they received a call about a man shot.
It happened on the 2300 block of 2nd Ave West.
One male was transported for treatment, but was later pronounced dead.
BCI, Williams County Sheriff's Office, the Northwest Task Force and SWAT are all helping Williston PD investigate.
There are no suspects in custody but again they are looking for a white male in his 20's.
They says the man is considered armed and dangerous, and he fled from the scene.
He was last known to be traveling on foot heading north from the 2300 block of 2nd Ave W in Williston.
