All over America, temperatures have been colder than normal.
Today was the day that temperatures reached and for the most part stayed about zero.
The arctic freeze across the country started just before Christmas.
On average temperatures were about twenty-five to thirty-five below zero, but Hettinger was of the coldest places one of those days at negative forty-five degrees.
We asked people how they feel about the about the rising temperatures.
"We're very happy to see it back to what we would consider to be normal temperature for this time of year." said Jamie Campbell, Minot Resident.
"As far as getting up in the morning, I'm not looking forward to it when it was that cold out so that's definitely moving on to some lighter times now. New year, new temperatures hopefully," said Minot Resident.
The artic freeze lasted approximately ten days.
Another warm day ahead.
