Pride Minot Festival

The third annual Minot Pride Festival is underway.
Although June has been designated Pride Month, Pride Minot celebrates in July so it doesn't conflict with Pride festivities elsewhere.
Venders set up their booths with products to sell to the visitors in Oak Park.
Everyone who registered for the 5 K was entered into a raffle to win prizes.
The fastest runner was also awarded a prize.
"So, the 5K is just another activity that brings people together and shows that one, we have a wide breadth of interests in the Pride community, but also promotes health, and our local parks, and just gets people together." said Topher Slade, Pride Minot Vice President.
The festivities continue tomorrow with a church service, followed by a brunch and an opportunity to volunteer at the YWCA.
