Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Families gathered to decorate luminaries with drawings and the names of their angel children. Parents lit tea lights at the head of the chapel to provide the light for the event. As the candles burned, parents shared testimonies of their heartbreak to help ease the grief. All families were welcome, regardless of whether they lost a child 30 years ago or less than a year ago.

"It shows you that you're not alone, that there are other people who are going through the grief and the hurt and the heartache that you endure with child loss, pregnancy, and infant loss." said Katreena Zodrow, Angel Parent.

The Angel Parents support group meets once a month at Premier Chiropractic.
