Nodak 100 Bicycling Challenge

Nodak 100 Bicycling Challenge - One hundred miles of open road... bicyclists are tackling the Minot Area Century Ride.
Athletes could start any time between six thirty and nine this morning and went at their own pace.
There were four route options, ranging from twenty-six and a half miles and to one hundred miles.
Although its not a race, some are looking to beat their time from the year before.
"I'm ahead of schedule. I think I'm averaging twenty-three miles an hour. Not too much wind in this morning, so I got a little ahead of schedule. It's going to be rough out towards Deering." said Cory Meza, Second Year in Nodak 100.
"It's good to ride that far. It's good to get out and clear my head and just be on the road and having a good time doing something I really love." said Tasha Taylor, First Year in Nodak 100.
Participants said the weather made for a great day of bike riding.
