A local educator recently received national recognition for her role in preparing kids for the real world.
Pam Stroklund was named Outstanding Leader in Experiential Education at a national convention in San Antonio, Texas.
Stroklund oversees fourteen career and technical education programs within Minot Public Schools. Those CTE programs include things like construction, welding, auto repair, and even aviation technology and family and consumer sciences.
Stroklund was nominated for the award by a colleague. She says she's happy to share the recognition.

Stroklund is in her 13th year as the CTE Director for Minot Public Schools.
