School security underwent summer upgrades at Magic City High School.
Administrative offices have been relocated near the commons area, and a secure double door entry was added.
Principal Scott Faul says the move was two-fold: it allows administrators a view of the only daytime entrance as well as a view of the students in the commons area.
All outside entrances will now lock at 8:15, leaving only one access to the building.
