Minot, ND - Vice President Mike Pence will visit Minot Air Force Base this week.
Senator John Hoeven's office confirmed the visit this morning, saying the senator planned to join Pence for his tour of the base on Friday morning.
Hoeven says the vice president will meet with base leadership and address the airmen.
Minot Air Force Base is home to two legs of the nation's nuclear triad - air-based using B-52 bombers, and land-based using Minuteman-Three missiles that are in silos sprinkled around north-central North Dakota.
Pence's visit comes two months after President Donald Trump visited North Dakota, promoting his tax reform plan.
