Gudmunson Has Successful Fourth Surgery

Las Vegas, NV - The North Dakota man seriously wounded in the shooting attack in Las Vegas last week had a fourth surgery today at a Las Vegas hospital.

Family friend-- Randall Hanson reports Andrew Gudmunson's surgery at Sunrise Hospital today was successful.

He says surgeons were finally able to fully close his wound and Gudmunson is not expected to be paralyzed as a result of his injuries.

Hanson says Gudmunson is still on a ventilator and heavily sedated to control pain.
Gudmunson was one of the hundreds of people wounded in the attack outside the Mandalay Bay hotel eight days ago.
