Two weeks ago, the Henning family began their day by preparing to take family pictures together.
While they were out taking the pictures, the Hennings received a call explaining that their home had gone up in flames. To help the family raise money to start rebuilding their lives, Jarod Henning's sister organized a vendor show. Over 100 gift baskets were donated for a silent auction and raffle.
"The community's been absolutely amazing. There's random people that I don't even know, show up at our doorstep and they're like, 'We have gifts for you.' and I was like -I always cry. I'm always crying because it's just so overwhelming and so -it warms my heart to know there's still good people out there." said Felisha Henning, Lost home to fire.
You can help the Hennings by making a cash donation at Affinity First Credit Union in Minot.
