Clothes, furniture, and games; All of these types of businesses are joining our North Dakota communities.
Hazen has had a couple new businesses open their doors for the first time.
Dream Girls Boutique is a recent addition to main street.
They offer boutique style clothing at an affordable price.
The owner says tey hope to expand their options to include a children's clothing line.
With the holiday's quickly approaching, Dream Girls Boutique is also gearing up for "shop small Saturday" and will have plenty of sales to attract their customer.
Just across the street, a new furniture store, home connection had their grand opening last week.
They recently expanded their furniture and flooring line and added patio furniture.
They'll also have lots of holiday sales in the coming weeks, and since their opening they've gotten great feedback from the community.
"Great. The response from the community has been really good. Everybody is happy we're staying open. They like having a local business," said Keith Knecht, Owner.
It's the only furniture store in Hazen, saving the residents a trip to a bigger city for their home decoration needs.
A new activity in Downtown Minot will be opening soon.
Putt District is a place full of mini golf, but the unique part is that it's all glow in the dark!
The owner says that the theme is awesome, but there's a reason.
On the 14 hole course, you'll see popular characters from every generation to remind you about the kid in you.
Additionally to golf, there will be a clubhouse in the basement for food and refreshments.
(Eric Thoemke, Co-Owner) "Creating an atmosphere acceptable for every age from 2 years old all the way up to 150 so it's going to be a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy," said Eric Thoemke, Co-Owner.
Putt District will have its grand opening on November 17th.
