Two banks in the region opened new booths at this year's Høstfest.

First Western and First International Banks held ribbon cuttings this morning at their respective spaces.

First Western is offering a "Scandinavian IQ Test" at its booth in Stockholm Hall - challenging festival goers to correctly label the Nordic nations including capitals, flags, and even royalty.

(Brenda Foster, First Western Bank) "When the idea was brought to us we thought it sounded like a lot of fun and it would allow our employees at the bank to learn a bit more about Scandinavian communities."

First International Bank opened what's called the Bank of Scandinavia where patrons can learn about the history of First International Bank, and get facts about the currencies of the Scandinavian nations.

(Steve Stenehjem, First International Bank) "It's the first year and we're very proud to be sponsoring it and thrilled to be part of the tradition of Høstfest which we've volunteered at for a long time."

First International is handing out Norwegian coins to all kids who visit the booth on Chester Avenue at the Høstfest.
