Names released in Bowman death

Bowman Police have identified Nicholas L. Johnson, 23, of Rhame, North Dakota as the man found dead at the El-Vu Motel on Saturday. 

Police have also released the names of the three suspects who were found in Colorado before being arrested and taken into custody. 

26-year-old Madison West and 21-year-old Chase Swanson, both of Bowman and employees of the El-Vu Motel, and 28-year-old Todd Pashano of Minnesota are currently being help at an unnamed correctional center in Denver, Col. 

The trio is expected to be brought to North Dakota no later than September 8th according to Bowman Police Chief Chuck Headley. 

A press conference was held today at the Bowman County Courthouse. 

Wyoming and Colorado police assisted in finding the suspects after following leads from witnesses. 

Bowman police would not discuss the matter in which Johnson died. However, they did confirm that the cause of death was ruled a homicide after an autopsy was performed.
