Wednesday's PM Forecast Update 4/19

Rain chances tonight, followed by clearing & warmer temps

From the KX Storm Center:
Today it has been cloudy with a cool feel and scattered rain. A few hit & miss thunderstorms will be possible this evening with no severe weather expected. Rain chances will continue through tonight as a weak system moves West to East across the Dakotas. Rain chances will wrap up as skies clear out through the AM hours and Thursday. Through the rest of the work week, expect more sunshine with temps gradually climbing to near and above average for this time of the year. A light breeze is possible for some and could become a little gusty at times. Enjoy the latter half of the work week as temps climb back into the 60s. By this weekend, an active weather pattern will resume with another weak front moving across the state. Rain chances come back into play Saturday & Saturday night. Otherwise, in & out clouds with temps topping out in the 50s & 60s and near/above the seasonable norm. The beginning of the work week will bring another chance for rain with temps settling back into the 50s with a few 40s.
 
Tonight, tapering rain chances, followed by some clearing and another round of chilly temps. Lows in the 30s with a few 40s and a NE/SW wind 2-10mph.
 
Thursday, continued clearing early revealing plenty of sunshine with some warming. Highs in the 50s & 60s with a West/NW wind 5-15mph G20.
 
Thursday night, mostly clear and a little chilly. Lows in the 30s with a NE wind 2-10mph.
 
Friday will bring another round of sunshine with a little more warming. Highs in the 60s with a few 50s and an East wind 2-12mph.
 
Friday night, partly cloudy with in & out clouds with a cool feel. Lows in the 30s with a few 40s and a Light wind out of the Southeast.
