Two men have been arrested in connection to copper wire thefts from the new Detention Center under construction in Burleigh County.

30-year-old Cole Littlewhiteman and 42-year-old Travis Humphrey were arrested after deputies acted on information received on an unrelated matter.

A press release says the Burleigh County Sheriff's deputies observed items possibly linking Littlewhiteman with thefts from the construction site. He was arrested with theft of copper wire from the site.

Humphrey was arrested as an accomplice.

The investigation continues into other thefts from the site.
