Target teamed up with Nintendo to give shoppers a very unique shopping experience, literally from the moment you walk in the doors.
If you're familiar with the game, you may recognize the ding that signifies the start of the race as you walk inside.
Even the shopping carts have been turned into mario karts.
The store leader says the turnout since the release has been a big one.
"Mario Kart is a family favorite. I think you can kind of think back to the beginning and this is volume 8, and so we knew that it would be a great game for the Switch, and the new release, and so for Target and our teams, we really embrace that kind of family fun culture, and this is a great experience to do so," says Tina Miller, Store Team Leader.
