The state drama competition is in April, and students all across the state are competing now to secure their spots.
Schools from Washburn, Flasher, Shiloh, and many others all met in Hazen for the region 7 one act play contest. Three of the eleven competing schools will move forward to the state drama competition. This was also a chance for students to meet and talk about their plays with other schools. And of course, each student was hopeful to continue in the competition.
Frank David Laswell III; 8th Grade, Turtle Lake Middle: "It'd mean a lot to me. We've never been beyond this point before and it'd be really awesome if we did."
Shiloh Christian came in first tonight, followed by Washburn in 2nd and New Salem in 3rd.
