Reckless Driver Causes Vehicle Carrying Toddler To Overturn

No one was injured when a reckless driver caused a vehicle carrying a two-year-old child to overturn in a ditch on the Interstate.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a blue Chevrolet Corvette was witnessed weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds on I-94 near Mandan Wednesday afternoon around 2:45 pm.

Witnesses told officials that the Corvette driver slammed on the brakes and forced the vehicle behind it off the road, where it struck a sign post and overturned in the ditch.

Neither the driver of that vehicle nor the two-year-old passenger was injured in the crash.

Officials say the no license plate was displayed on the Corvette. The driver was described by witnesses as a bald, white man in his 30s.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is seeking information on the driver of the Corvette. You're asked to contact the Patrol at 701-328-2467 with any information.
