Multiple car break-ins, thousands in loss

Reports of 6 car break-ins resulted in thousands of damage and loss over the weekend in Bismarck. They all happened around the same time.

On Saturday October 28 at 8:15 a.m., Bismarck Police dispatched to the parking lot of Lowe's off West Century Ave. There, a 38-year-old Mandan man says his front passenger window was damaged and multiple things taken. In total, there was $300 damage, and $760 worth of stolen items. According to Bismarck Police, surveillance shows a blue 4-door sedan in the area.

That same morning, both a 28-year-old Bismarck woman and 34-year-old Bismarck man report their vehicles broken into outside Lucky 13's. Both had their front passenger window damaged. There were items taken from both vehicles but no dollar amount is listed. Surveillance video shows a dark blue vehicle in the area. The male victim's wallet was taken and used at a near-by McDonalds. That video also shows the same car in the drive-through.

A 25-year-old man from Mobridge, SD, also reports his vehicle broken into Saturday morning outside Gold's Gym. The driver's side, back passenger window was damaged and things taken. In total, he reports $400 damage and $890 worth of stolen items. Bismarck Police say similar reports point to the same blue sedan.
