Today we have been seeing plenty of sunshine and it has been breezy across much of the state. A ridge of high pressure will continue to build over the region and become anchored over our area through most of the work week. Sunshine will continue with very little cloud cover through Tuesday & Wednesday; and winds will calm down (becoming light) until our next system, approaches the area. Thursday & Friday, expect gradually increasing clouds as we go into the weekend. Lows will be in the 50s with highs in the 70s and slightly above average for this time of the year. Sunday & Monday will bring our next chance for rain with a low pressure system that will move through the Northern Plains.
Tonight, wind speeds will calm down with clear skies and a chilly feel. There will be a Frost Advisory from after Midnight, until 8am cdt. Lows in the 30s & 40s with a West/NW wind calming to 1-8mph.
Tuesday will bring plenty of sunshine with a few light clouds and temperatures slightly above the seasonable norm. Highs on either side of 70 with a NW/East wind 2-12mph.
Tuesday night will be a little chilly with clear skies. Lows on either side of 40 with a and East wind 1-8mph.
Wednesday, expect another round of sunny skies with a pleasant feel. Highs in the 70s with a few 60s and an East/NE wind 2-10mph.
Wednesday Night, mostly clear skies with a few clouds rolling in and a cool feel. Lows in the 40s with a NE/SE wind 2-10mph.
