Good Monday morning! For most of us, we're seeing a warm start... many 50s & 60s. A few areas in the northwest around Burke and Divide counties have dipped into the 40s. Plenty of sunshine today as high pressure becomes our dominate feature. Highs will warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will stay light and mainly from the north.
Tonight, a calm and tranquil night with mostly clear skies and lows in the 50s. That makes for a beautiful Tuesday morning with mostly clear skies and highs returning to the 80s. We are on a warming trend this week with each day getting warmer until we hit the upper 80s by Thursday. Unfortunately, strong wind will be back in the forecast on Thursday and into Friday.
A cool down is on the way for the second half of the weekend with highs returning to the 70s. We're still a ways out, but it looks like we pick up with our chances for rain over the weekend as well. Be sure to stay informed by following us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest on any rain development over the holiday weekend!
