It's the first double digit Month of the year, and there is no better way to celebrate than Oktoberfest!

It's the seventh season Muddy River Mashers hosted the event which was held at Sertoma Park.
The group of home brewers brought 25 different brews for guests to try.
There were all kinds, such as IPA's, stouts, and several barrel-aged beers.
But only one will be picked best brew of all.

"I made a cream ale this year, I make a cream ale every year.  It never wins but people seem to enjoy it I guess," says Michael Thomas, Home Brewer

Over 125 tickets were sold for the event.
Muddy River Mashers also hosts a home-brew day where they teach people the art of making your own beer.
