The holiday season is already here!
And with the Thanksgiving just two weeks away, many food pantries are in need of more donations.
Sandi Crimmins; Co-chair: "I love it, it's become a passion of mine."
The Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry is entirely volunteer run -- and they run on your donations.
Don't let these shelves deceive you. It doesn't take long for them to be entirely cleared out. And with the holidays fast approaching, the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry is always in need of donations.
Sandi Crimmins; Co-chair: "Donations are up, but unfortunately, so are the clients that need the help."
This is the only food pantry that serves both Burleigh and Morton County.
Gail Leary; Co-chair: "Since we have so many people coming in, it doesn't take long for the shelves to be empty. and we depend completely on donations."
Regardless of stock, the pantry tries to always give those who need it -- a little extra during the holidays.
Gail Leary; Co-chair: "We put away some stuffing and cranberries and pumpkin pie mix."
If you're not sure what you can bring to the table.
Sandi Crimmins; Co-chair: "Just about anything you can think of, we can always use."
If you'd like to donate to the food pantry, you can drop off supplies to their location.
