Lawmakers say they'll wrap up session on Tuesday

5 days later than their original deadline

Earlier in session lawmakers set day 70 as the end date goal, and clearly missed their mark. Today is day 72.

Senators and House Reps are feeling the heat from their chamber leaders to get a move on. Legislators have over 30 bills left to get through the House and Senate chambers, many are still expected to meet a few more time in conference committees.

Rich Wardner is the Senate majority leader, and made an aggressive announcement for his coworkers to pick of the pace.

Sen. Richard Wardner: "Let's try and get this thing wrapped up no later than Tuesday. That's the latest so, we're going to have to shake and bake."

Both chambers are working together to meet this Tuesday night deadline.
