While you may need the umbrella on the way to work this morning, you can put it away for the return home. Low pressure is continuing to churn through the state leaving behind a decent amount of rain. We've seen anywhere from 1.78" in Watford City to around .30" in Bismarck. This system will move east today and continue to bring scattered showers to central and eastern ND. Eastern Montana and parts of far western ND will get a little sun behind that low today. Highs will return to around 70 in the west to the mid 60s in central ND.
Tonight, a drop to the 40s & 50s with decreasing clouds. High pressure slips in behind the rain and gives us a nice and sunny weekend. Highs Saturday will warm into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. Sunday, mostly sunny skies with highs returning to the mid to upper 70s. Winds will increase from the northwest Sunday afternoon to around 15-25 mph.
Monday and Tuesday, mostly sunny with highs returning to the lower 70s. Very few rain chances for the first half of next week. They will eventually return by Wednesday night into Thursday.
