Bismarck, ND - A five-hour standoff closed down a Bismarck Road while police tried to serve a federal search warrant.
Sgt. Mark Gaddis with the Bismarck Police Department says officers were executing a search warrant related to a drug investigation on the 2700 block of Boundary Rd. But the suspect locked himself in a detached garage. That is when the SWAT team was brought in.
The suspect would not come out for more than five hours. But officers did eventually take him into custody on drug charges.
Another suspect was also arrested for possession of meth and cocaine.
