Enderlin boy who reads from phone books, needs some help

Enderlin, ND (WDAY TV) - A little boy who stole our hearts is looking for help.

Alex Leach is waiting for transplant surgery. Since our story ran that Alex likes phones books, they've been pouring in from around the country.

He on a waiting list for small and large intestines, liver and pancreas transplants in Omaha. The problem: Once they get the call that organs are available they only have 6-hours to get there.

They're hoping someone with a plane would be willing to help, at little or no cost. There's also a benefit for Alex this weekend in Enderlin. More information Below.

Where: Enderlin VFW

There will be a free will spaghetti supper, bake sale and live auction.
