From the KX News Dakota Storm Center:
Across the state, we have been seeing partly to mostly cloudy skies. There has been some clearing at times with no rain chances across Western & Central ND. The next couple of days will bring a few changes. After more pleasant temperatures Friday, cold front will move through the Dakotas Friday night & Saturday. Expect scattered rain (with this front) that will mainly affect the southern half of the state. In the wake of this cold front, expect mostly sunny skies with in & out clouds as a ridge of high pressure briefly moves across North Dakota. A secondary front will move through the Northern Plains on Monday, bringing even more scattered rain. After this early work-week front we will see a lot more sunshine with seasonable temperatures.
Tonight, mostly to partly cloudy skies with some clearing and temperatures well above average. Lows in the 40s with a SE/West wind 2-10mph, becoming gusty for some.
Friday, expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with winds becoming strong and a continued mild feel. Clouds will begin to increase, late. Highs mainly in the 60s with a NW wind 10-20mph G30.
Friday night, mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain developing after Midnight. Lows in the 30s & 40s with a NW/North wind 5-15mph. 30% chance for rain.
Saturday, scattered rain will continue early with mostly cloudy skies and some clearing. Lows in the 40s with a North/NE wind 2-12mph.
Saturday night will bring clearing skies in the wake of a front. It will feel chilly for most of us. Lows in the 30s & near freezing with a light SE wind.
