Glen Ullin, N.D. - The boil order put in place Monday, May 15th for the city of Glen Ullin is now lifted as of 1:00 p.m. today when the State Laboratory determined the water was safe for consumption.
According to a release sent from Morton County, the water tower is back in use and water pressure in Glen Ullin should be good.
The county sent a CodeRED Emergency Notification System or a reveres 911 call to let residents know the order has been lifted.
On Monday, a breach in the water facility created the potential for contamination of the drinking water with disease causing microorganisms. The breach was a dead mouse.
The area of the breach was corrected and the water storage facility was drained, scoured, and disinfected.
