Bismarck - If you're taking a trip to downtown Bismarck this weekend you better be careful where you park.
The street department will be removing snow and there will be "No Parking" street cleaning areas.
The city is asking everyone to keep vehicles off the streets until the snow plows are done.
The Bismarck Police Department will be ticketing and towing any vehicles parked on the the downtown streets at cleaning times over the weekend.
The city says getting the downtown cleared of snow will help keep things moving and people safe.
"Somebody's walking and trips on [snow], or cars can't park up against the curb [because] there's a ridge of snow there, so it's nice to remove all the snow," Keith Glass, Bismarck Public Works says.
The city says anyone who dumps or moves snow from a private property onto any public street is subject to a $1,000 fine.
