Basin's Backyard Garden

Basin's Backyard Garden

The first seeds are being planted.
This is a community effort to help feed the area's hungry.
Basin Electric employees are getting down and dirty planting lettuce, radishes, tomatoes, and much more.
If all goes right for the growing season, they hope to donate 1000 pounds of fresh food.

Tracie Bettenhausen/Basin's Backyard Garden:  "Being able to take them into places that you know, every food pantry we go into they tell us, this food will be gone.  Fresh good food is so needed in our community.  We are so happy to be able to help fill that need."

Basin's Backyard garden has been growing for 4 years, and has raised a total of 2000 pounds of food for the hungry.
