They call it the most important meal of the day because it helps power us through our day. If you haven't guessed it by now, well we're talking about breakfast.

Sanford Dietitian Teresa Vetter says it's important that kids eat a good breakfast before they go to school because it helps with brain power, memory and attention span.

Teresa encourages parents to have a variety of breakfast foods on hand for their kids such as: cereal, yogurt, fruits and even oatmeal.

In this video she shows us how to make overnight oatmeal as a quick and healthy breakfast food for your kids in the morning.
