Authorities release the name of a man fatally shot by a police officer this past Friday.
24-year-old Ivan Wilson of Mandan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officer-involved shooting happened after police officers were called to a domestic dispute in northeast Mandan.
Officers say when they arrived at the residence a 24-year-old male had a knife in his hand and refused to drop it.
They also say the man made an aggressive move toward officers.
That's when an officer with the Mandan Police Department shot the man, Ivan Wilson.
He was pronounced dead at the scene..
No one else was injured.
Three Mandan Police Officers have been placed on administrative leave per Mandan Police Department policy.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating the officer-involved shooting.
The yearly event is hosted by the North Dakota Humanities Council.
