Grand Junction ---
Grand openings with lines out the door and hair on the line. In this week's Around Town we're exploring three businesses making grand debuts.
First, east coast meets Midwest.. This time with a healthy serving of subs done the right way according to the owner - Colton Shoults.
His business' has been open since Monday next to Ace Hardware on 43rd Avenue and the staff haven't been able to keep up with the crowd.
Colton says he's never been a burger guy, so bringing subs to Bismarck made perfect sense.
It's his first time at the restaurant mill, but not too bad for a first try. Every day projections are being crushed and he's had to hire two people every day since doors have swung open.
Better get down there fast. Seems folks can't get enough of subs with flavor.
Classy Nails ---
And It's getting classy here on the North side of town as well.
Right in the next plaza Classy Nails is expanding.
Danny owns all of the locations in Bismarck.
They'll be opening another one near Cash Wise on the south end Saturday.
That's the way to beutify Bismarck.
Another grand opening takes place today right here at Silo Hair Salon at the Kirkwood Mall.
By 7 p.m. Friday they'll be rocking with some hair-raising deals.
Silo has recently received a total makeover. It hadn't been updated since the 1990's and stylists are raving about it.
"It's really nice the aesthetics are nice..."
They hope you will think so, too.
They're hosting an evening showcase with a night full of pampering.
"Silo stands for serving in loving others that's just kind of the core of what we do. We just love giving back," says Matt Frank, Owner of Silo.
That includes a raffle for a basketful of home-spa and hair products, free hand massages and a product sale.
They're just happy to show off what they've cut off to get you to come-in.
