12-year-old escapes mobile home fire

Bismarck Police, Bismarck Fire, and Metro Ambulance responded to a mobile home fire Monday morning.

At 5:27 a.m., the responding agencies received reports of the home in the Iseman Mobile Home Park on South 12th street engulfed in flames. Upon arrival, Bismarck Fire saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the front of the mobile home. They noticed the 12-year-old juvenile self-evacuated from the home. He was the only one home at the time.

The fire was put out, and the juvenile was transported to a local hospital by his mother for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
